These terms are an agreement between you and Moheb Boules, the individual developer based in Egypt who builds and operates Fundship (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Fundship.
What Fundship is
Fundship is a tool for recording and reviewing spending, alone or with other people in a shared workspace. It is a record of what its users type in.
- Fundship does not move money, hold money or connect to bank accounts.
- The totals and insights it shows depend entirely on what has been entered.
- Nothing in the app is financial, tax or legal advice.
Your account
- You need to be at least 13 years old to use Fundship.
- You sign in with a code sent to your email, so anyone with access to your inbox can access your account. Keep your email secure.
- Use an email address that belongs to you, and one account per person.
Your content
What you enter in Fundship is yours. You give us permission to store and process it for the sole purpose of running the app for you and the people you share with.
In a shared workspace:
- other members can see what you add,
- owners and admins can change the workspace settings and remove members,
- transactions you added stay in the workspace if you leave it or delete your account.
Only invite people whose email address you are allowed to use.
Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- use Fundship for anything illegal,
- try to access other people’s accounts or data,
- probe, overload or disrupt the service,
- access the service with automated tools, or copy its data in bulk,
- upload a profile photo that is unlawful or that you have no right to use.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Price
Fundship is currently free. If paid features are added later, you will be told the price before you are charged anything.
Changes and availability
Fundship is developed by one person. We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop offering the app. If we plan to shut it down, we will give you reasonable notice so you can take a record of your data.
We try to keep the service running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Ending your use
You can stop using Fundship at any time and delete your account in the app under Settings, Account, Delete Account. See delete your account for what happens to your data.
Disclaimer and liability
Fundship is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or financial decisions made on the basis of information in the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer protection law of your country that cannot be waived.
Apple and Google
If you downloaded Fundship from the App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply to your use of the app. Apple and Google are not responsible for Fundship or for supporting it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Egypt.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change we update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use Fundship after that means you accept the new terms.
