This page explains how to delete your account in Fundship, the shared expense tracker by Moheb Boules, and what happens to your data.
Delete it in the app
- Open Fundship and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Under Account, tap Delete Account.
- Confirm.
Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
If you can’t use the app
Write to support@fundship.app from the email address on your account and ask for it to be deleted. We will delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted
- The email address, display name and profile photo on your account.
- Your sign-in codes and sessions, on every device.
- Your personal workspace and everything in it.
- Any shared workspace where you are the only member, and everything in it.
What is kept
- Transactions in shared workspaces. If other people are still in a workspace, the transactions you added stay there so their records remain complete. Your name is replaced with “Deleted user” and your email address is removed from them. If you were the owner, ownership passes to another member.
- Invitation records. Pending invitations you sent or received are cancelled. Workspaces that other people still use keep a record of past invitations, including the email address each one was sent to.
- Server logs and error reports. These may contain your IP address and account ID. They are removed automatically within 90 days.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You can delete individual transactions, categories and workspaces in the app at any time. To have something else removed, write to support@fundship.app.
